Vehicle Collision sends 11-year-old girl to hospital in Brampton
Peel Regional Police is investigating a motor vehicle collision in Brampton that sent an 11-year-old girl to hospital after she was struck by a vehicle on Today Morining (Tuesday, Jan. 14).
Police received a call around 9:03 a.m. that a youth had been struck in the Brisdale Drive and Sandy Beach Road area of the city.
Police Const. Sarah Patten said – the girl was conscious and breathing when taken to a trauma centre, although the extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.
The vehicle remained on scene, according to police.
Brisdale Road from McCrimmon Drive to Sandy Beach Road is expected to be closed for a short time.
