Jamie Dryden should be considered armed and dangerous, police say
Jamie Dryden, who is wanted on a Canada-side warrant, is known to frequent York Region and other communities, police say.
Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant who is known to visit York Region and surrounding communities.
Jamie Dryden is wanted for breaching conditions of his statutory release, according to a statement from the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) squad.
He is serving a sentence of two years and nine months for three counts of aggravated assault, two counts of break and enter, disguise with intent and theft under.
In addition to York Region, he is known to frequent the Hamilton, Brantford, Durham Region, Parry Sound,, Toronto, Barrie, Bracebridge and Thunder Bay areas.
Dryden, 32, is described as an Indigenous man, five-foot, six-inches tall, 165 pounds with short brown hair and hazel eyes.
He has several tattoos, including a panther, spider web, skulls and a barbed wire on his left forearm.
On his right arm, he has tattoos reading “Three men keep a secret, two are dead.”. He also has an eye on his left hand.
Dryden is also wanted by Hamilton police for several violent criminal offences and he is considered armed and dangerous, the ROPE release said.
