409 new Covid-19 cases today, confirms Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott
The Provincial Health officials have confirmed 409 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday i.e. September 24, 2020. The province experienced a dip in the virus on Wednesday and was hoping that the number of cases will be decreasing in order to avoid another lockdown.
Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott was noted saying that more than 30,600 tests were completed in past 24 hours that brought the case positivity rate up to 1.4 per cent.
Elliot took to her official Twitter account to share the latest details of Covid-19:
Ontario is reporting 409 cases of #COVID19 as more than 30,600 tests were completed. Locally, there are 151 new cases in Toronto with 82 in Ottawa and 46 in Peel. 63% of today’s cases are in people under the age of 40.

As per the new cases reported today, 46 are in Peel Region, 151 in Toronto and 82 are in Ottawa. Elliot was noted saying that 63 per cent of new confirmed cases are under the age of 40.
