Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s junior staff tests positive
A spokesperson from Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s team has confirmed that one his junior staff on his office tour team has tested positive for Covid-19. Ford on his Twitter account confirmed the news and wrote,
Earlier today, a junior member of my tour team tested positive for COVID-19. I had no close contact or prolonged exposure to them and will therefore closely monitor my symptoms and take appropriate action as needed. I wish this member of my team a speedy and safe recovery.

Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott on her Twitter account confirmed 409 new Covid-19 cases in Ontario today. She wrote that more than 30,600 tests were completed in past 24 hours that brought the case positivity rate up to 1.4 per cent. Locally there are 46 cases in Peel Region, 151 in Toronto and 82 are in Ottawa.
Sever other regions in Ontario that have alarming number of cases are York Region with 34, Waterloo Region with 26, Durham Region with 12, Middlesex-London with 12 and Halton Region with 11.
She insisted people to maintain social distance and practice all the Covid-19 guildlines.
