Dispute Leads to Arrest and Firearm Seizure
Region of Peel – Uniform officers and the Criminal Investigation Bureau from 12 Division have charged a 20-year-old man with firearm offences in the City of Mississauga.
On October 25, 2020, at approximately 4:20 p.m., police were contacted regarding a verbal altercation between two men. During the incident, one man was seen reaching into his jacket and displaying a handgun. Police attended the Silver Spear Road and Winding Trail area in the City of Mississauga to investigate the incident, where the man was located and arrested. A loaded Steyr Mannlicher M40 semi-automatic handgun was seized.
Isaiah Judge, a 20-year-old man from Mississauga, was charged with the following offences:
– Breach of Recognizance
– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
– Possession of Loaded Prohibited Firearm
– Carrying a Concealed Weapon
– Careless Storage of Firearm
– Possess Firearm with Defaced Serial Number
– Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
– Possession of Firearm Contrary to Order
He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice on October 26, 2020, in the City of Brampton.
