And finally, the five-day long Diwali festivities have arrived! Although Dhanteras 2020 and Deepavali 2020 won’t be the same this year due to Covid19 but we can always make it special by doing something different and unique.


It is said that Dhanteras also known Dhantrayodashi to worship Goddess Laxmi and Lord Kubera, the Gods of Wealth. It is believed that on the 13th day of Hindu Lunar Calendar, Goddess Laxmi emerged from the ocean during the churning of milk. Devotees of Laxmi buy new purchases like Gold, Silver articles and utensils on this day.

Dhanteras 2020 Tithi: The auspicious day of Maa Laxmi will begin on November 12th at 9:30 PM and will end on November 13th at 5:59 PM.

Dhanteras 2020 Puja Mahurat: Dhanteras puja is performed in the evening after the sunset. This year, the Pradosh Kaal will begin at 5:28 PM and will end by 8:07 PM on November 13th. Whereas, the Vrishabha Kaal will start at 5:32 PM and will end by 7:28 PM on November 13th.
