One dead and two severely injured in Etobicoke shooting

The Etobicoke shooting has led to the death of one while two others are fighting for their after the night of the incident. 

The incident took place on Monday night, shortly after 9 p.m. in Lakeshore Boulevard West and 30th Street in Long Branch. Police were fast on the case and quickly reached the area upon getting the shooting reports. 

The three victims of the shooting incident included one female and two males, and all three had received severe gunshot wounds. The victims were provided immediate first-aid on the scene by paramedics and were then rushed to a nearby hospital. By the time the patients reached the hospital, one of them had succumbed to the fatal wounds.  

The bullet casing of the fired gunshots have been found by the police and the case had already been passed to the Crime Unit. 

The roads of the area around the crime scene have been closed down as investigation is being carried out in the area. Locals of the Long Branch neighborhood are expected to deal with the resulting delays. Any information about the happenings of the incident can be relayed to 416-808-2222.
