A man charged with stabbing a woman on a TTC bus
Police charged a man for attacking a woman in a TTC bus. The Toronto Police call it an unprovoked attack and have recently charged a man in the case.
As per the report, a woman was stabbed in a TTC bus West Queen West area at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8. The police say that the incident happened when a 32-year-old woman was sitting on an eastbound bus near Queen and Tecumseth streets. She was suddenly attacked and stabbed by a man sitting behind her on the same bus.
The woman was taken to the hospital and treated. She is released from the hospital now.
On January 9, Sunday, police shared the images of the man suspected of this attack and also shared his description.
Dayer Rivera-Garzon, 27, of Toronto, was charged with uttering threats of bodily harm and possessing a weapon for committing an offence, as well as assault with a weapon.
