Women under the rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan have now started forming a resilience against the dictatorship government of their country. The extremist Taliban rulers had ordered every woman in Afghanistan to fully cover their face in public.

The Taliban who overthrew the previous democratic government of Afghanistan released this order of full-face coverage, last Saturday. They are now slowly coming back to their previous orthodox policies and are posing extreme restrictions on women and girls staying in the country.

In case of disobedience, women’s closest male relative is targeted and they can be given a warning as a response or also imprisonment in worst cases.

It has not yet been public if any man has faced the consequences yet, as the Taliban say that for now, they are focusing more on the implementation of the rules.

In many areas of Afghanistan, mostly the developed ones, including Kabul, people are protesting against these laws.

This week two protests already took place in Kabul, where women claim that their basic rights are being taken away.

“We want to be known as living creatures, we want to be known as human beings, not slaves imprisoned in the corner of the house, said one of the women protesting in Kabul this week.
