
AAP MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan warmly received after 25-day tour of Canada.

After a 25-day trip across Canada in order to lobby for the betterment of Punjab and to invite in NRIs to help aid progress of their native land, AAP MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan returned back to India on Friday, September 16.
Mr. Sandhwan was warmly received by the general public and also by prominent personalities of the Punjabi Canadian diaspora
One of such officials was the Speaker of British Columbia, Mr. Raj Chauhan, with whom Mr. Sandhwan discussed everything from education and culture to science and agricultural technology.
Another interaction which stood out was with the former Minister of health of Canada, Mr. Ujjal Dosanjh with whom Mr. Sandhwan exchanged stories about working in the political field. Mr. Dosanjh along with his family cordially hosted Mr. Sandhwan at their residence in Vancouver. Mr. Dosanjh, who is a pioneer in the field of politics and law, ended the meeting by humbly giving one of his books to Mr. Sandhwan.
Mr. Sandhwan also addressed the NRI community of Vancouver specifically in one of the events he attended calling for them to contribute to the development of Punjab. He stated that what makes Punjabis stand out from others is that they are able to make a distinct identity wherever they go in the world. He continued by adding that it was impressive how Punjabi Canadians had set up huge businesses in Canada and urged them to play the same role by taking development initiatives in Punjab. He then assured the gathering that those who take up business ventures in Punjab will have his and AAPs unadulterated support in the process.
The AAP MLA was also well received by other influential Punjabis in Canada including Harmeet Singh Khuddiyan and Nimrata Shergill.

Mr. Sandhwan reached Chandigarh on Friday where he was warmly and heartily received by the Vidhan Sabha staff as well as Jagtar Singh Brar, Sukhpal Kaur Dhillwan, Maninder Singh Mani amongst many others.
