39 Year Old’s from Brampton and Mississauga Charged For Stolen Vehicle, Credit Cards and IDs

Officers from the Caledon OPP spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen while on patrol in a parking lot in Bolton on March 16 at 5:20 p.m., according to an OPP press release.

Residents of Brampton and Mississauga are facing charges after stolen credit cards and identification was discovered in a stolen vehicle.

According to the OPP, two people were in the vehicle, and police immediately stopped it to prevent a chase. However, while officers were arresting the two people, one fled on foot. That individual was quickly apprehended.

Officers from the Caledon OPP spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen while on patrol in a parking lot in Bolton on March 16 at 5:20 p.m., according to an OPP press release.

According to police, officers discovered many stolen property in the vehicle, including stolen identification, credit cards, and break-in tools.

Two people have been charged with the same.

39 Year Old Manpreet Singh Dhillon of Brampton has been charged with:

  • Fail to Comply with Release Order
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Possession of Stolen Identity Document
  • Possession of a Stolen Credit Card
  • Possession of Break-In Instruments
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possess Automobile Master Key
  • Escape Lawful Custody
  • Flight From Police

39 Year Old Ranbit Singh Toor of Mississauga, has been charged with:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Possession of Stolen Identity Document
  • Possession of Break-In Instruments
  • Possess Automobile Master Key

Residents of Caledon are reminded not to leave wallets, credit cards, or other forms of banking or identification in unattended vehicles.
