Rainfall up to 25 mm expected in Southern Ontario

Significant rain will be pouring over the Waterloo Region and Wellington County. Environment Canada has announced a forecast of up to 25 mm of rainfall by Tuesday night.

Significant rain will be pouring over the Waterloo Region and Wellington County. Environment Canada has announced a forecast of up to 25 mm of rainfall by Tuesday night.

Special statements are in place and a freezing rain warning is also in effect in the Grey-Bruce area.

Due to the already stagnant snow, the risk of flooding has also escalated.

The river flood status has also been moved to red by the Grand River Conservation Authority. The Grand River Watershed is under watch speculating flood chances in the area. GRCA will issue an update in the next 24 hours regarding the flood messages.
