According to the domestic news agency of Crimea, and the ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, the police are investigating the accident which lead to the death of four Indian students.

Among the four students, two were in their third year of college and the rest were in their fourth year of college.
As per the preliminary data, the students were travelling from Sergeev-Tsensky Street towards St Simferopol in Crimea when the driver of the vehicle lost control and crashed into the tree.
