Indian Student Shot Dead by 8 Gunshots
Kartik was reportedly traveling to work via subway when he faced 8 gunshots.
Last evening at 5 PM, Kartik was reportedly traveling to work via subway and faced 8 gunshots. He was treated at the spot by an off-duty paramedics and taken to St Michael’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Kartik was studying marketing management at Seneca College and moved to Canada this January from Delhi, India. Kartik’s brother Gaurav Vasudev tweeted “My cousin brother Kartik Vasudev was shot dead at a subway station in Toronto yesterday. We still don’t know what happened.”
The school also wrote that they were deeply saddened by the tragic death of Vasudev.
A medium build black man, with a height of 5’7 was seen running from the scene after shooting.
Vasudev’s body was taken to the Office of the Chief Coroner, Ontario for further investigation. Toronto police is still investigating, and the Kartik’s family is eagerly waiting for further updates.
