Miracle on the Main Street & Winter Lights Festival of Brampton
Peel Police Chief, Nishan Duraiappah, Ontario's Treasury Board President, Prabmeet Sarkaria, and Brampton's mayor Patrick Brown, alongside councilors like Navjit Kaur Brar, Pat Fortini, and Gurpratap Singh Toor also joined the event.
Tigerjeet Singh Foundation organized the “Miracle of Main Street” event at Gage Park in Brampton on 18th November 2022.
The event was directed towards collecting donations of unwrapped toys, which will then be handed over to the less fortunate children of the city. The Tigers were dressed up in Santa outfits, contributing their bits back to the community.

This year, Mayor Brown also set up a Christmas tree outside Brampton City Council which was lit up with 10,000 lights at 8 p.m. He also kicked off the Winter Light Festival of the year.
Even though it was a chilly evening with the temperature dropping to -9 degrees, Gage park was full of parents and children enjoying the start of the holiday season. The street had several stalls of mouthwatering food and beverages, alongside rides for the children.
Mayor Brown also announced that this year, “The Beaches” will be performing at the new year celebration in the city of Brampton.
