Mississauga man who allegedly crashed car, dropped pants, and punched a cop, arrested

After fleeing from the scene, the driver of the BMW approached a father and child while they were getting out of their parked car.

On Monday evening, around 8:22 p.m., a 29-year-old driver of a blue BMW was spotted speeding eastbound on Danforth Avenue at Jones Avenue. He then crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming car.

The driver allegedly left an injured 22-year-old passenger in the car and left the scene. The driver of the oncoming vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious and life-altering injuries.

After fleeing from the scene, the driver of the BMW approached a father and child while they were getting out of their parked car. He punched the father and grabbed the child.

Allegedly, when an off-duty police officer and neighbors tried to help, the man backed away before he dropped his pants and exposed himself.

Upon the arrival of police on the scene, the man punched an officer in the face, before he was shot with a stun gun by another officer and taken into custody.

The suspect is facing several charges including dangerous operations causing bodily harm, assault, and impaired operations causing bodily harm.
