A Hindu pilgrim from Pakistan, Rajesh Kumar, tragically lost his life after being shot by robbers while traveling to attend the 555th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev at Nankana Sahib. The incident occurred on the Mananwala-Nankana Sahib Road, approximately 60 kilometers from Lahore, leaving the local community in shock.

Kumar, a resident of Larkana in Sindh province, was en route to Nankana Sahib with his brother-in-law and a friend when three armed men intercepted their car. According to police reports, the robbers forcibly took approximately $ 2,270 (PKR 4,50,000) from the passengers and an additional $50 (PKR 10,000) from the driver. When Kumar resisted the robbery, the assailants opened fire on him before fleeing the scene.

The critically injured Kumar was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day. Authorities confirmed that a case has been filed against the unidentified suspects under relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.
