Pedestrian Killed in Brampton, Another Got Critically Injured While Helping
On Friday morning at around 5:45 a.m., two female pedestrians were struck in the area of Heritage Road and Steeles Avenue.
On Friday morning at around 5:45 a.m., two female pedestrians were struck in the area of Heritage Road and Steeles Avenue. One of them died and the other who tried to help her is in critical condition.
Const. Mandeep Khatra said, “Officers arrived on scene and sadly found one female pedestrian whose vital signs were absent, so she was deceased at the scene. Another female was taken to a trauma center with serious life-threatening injuries.”
The police informed that the female who died was 41 years old and the one who is in critical condition is 30 years old.
Const. Khatra told the source that it was a multi-vehicle collision, wherein two remained on the scene, and one remains outstanding. The outstanding vehicle, which is a mid-sized SUV was last seen heading westbound on Steels Avenue.
