Punjab government to start paddy procurement from October 1

The Punjab government will start procurement of paddy from October 1.

CM Mann held a meeting with the officers of the market board and reviewed the procurement arrangements and preparations.

Taking to his Twitter handle, CM Bhagwant Mann wrote, “This time around 191 lakh metric tons of paddy is likely to come..Govt is committed to pick every single grain of the crop.”
