Sidhu Moosewala’s father joins Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jalandhar

As the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed after coming to a halt for 24 hours following the demise of Congress MP Santokh Chaudhary, it was joined by many at the Khalsa College Ground in Jalandhar, including Balkaur Singh, the father of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Following Rahul Gandhi attending the last rites of the Congress MP in Jalandhar on Sunday, the Yatra resumed at around 3 pm from the Khalsa College Ground.

Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring took to Twitter to share a video where the father of the deceased singer could be seen joining the march.

“Bai Balkaur Singh joined #BharatJodoYatraPunjab. #JusticeForSidhuMooseWala,” The Punjab Congress chief tweeted.

Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on 29^th May,2022 in his home district of Mansa in Punjab. Since, infamous gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar have taken responsibility for the murder.
