Steven Del Duca Steps in the Mayoral Race of Vaughan

Steven Del Duca, former Ontario Liberal Party Leader has announced that he will be running to become the next mayor of Vaughan, Ontario.

In an announcement on Tuesday, he said that he had made a decision to join the mayoral race of Vaughan. He said that he took some time to re-evaluate his political future after his resignation from the leadership of Ontario’s Liberal Party.

“I’m really excited about the race [and] I’m taking nothing for granted. I’m just going to work really, really hard,” Del Duca said in an interview.

“Vaughan has some of the busiest and most gridlocked roads in Canada. Every day we’re spending more time commuting and less and less time with our loved ones. With your help, I want to fix that – it’s why I’m running for Mayor. Together, let’s get Vaughan moving,” he tweeted.
