Toronto under heat warning for the next two days

The temperature on Tuesday and Wednesday will be between mid and low thirties

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the southern and northern Ontario as well as the Greater Toronto Area for the next two days.

The temperature on Tuesday and Wednesday will be between mid and low thirties. To which, not much overnight relief is expected.

Environment Canada has also warned that the UV Index will be very high over the next two days.

The warning states,’ Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high-risk category.’ It further adds that,’ The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.’

The residents are warned to not leave young children or pets in cars and the outdoor workers must take breaks in cool places.

The temperature on Tuesday is expected to rise to about 29 ° C, feeling like 34 °C. Wednesday’s weather will be similar with a high of 33°C.
