Ukraine under martial law, Putin orders military attack on Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin has disregarded all international pressure and has finally launched a full-blown invasion into Ukraine. Putin, in his recent press statement, has asked the West to not interfere with his actions that are resulting in a conflict in Europe.
The Russian President said in his televised speech that Russia is sending troops to Ukraine in response to the Ukrainian threat as Russia does not have any intentions to invade or overtake Ukraine.
However, many areas of Ukraine were attacked by missile strikes. It forced Ukrainian citizens to flee those areas and run for their lives. Russia has also sent its forces onto the country’s south coast, which means the operation is not limited only to the east.
A Ukrainian presidential office adviser said that at least 40 people have died so far and dozens have been injured.
