Pawanpreet Kaur, 21, fatally shot outside Mississauga Gas Station
A woman was fatally shot outside a Mississauga Gas Station on Saturday night at around 10:40 p.m. The incident took place at a Gas Station located at 6035 Creditview Rd at Britannia Road West.

The victim has been identified as Pawanpreet Kaur, a 21-year-old woman from Brampton. Life saving measures were attempted however the victim succumbed to her injuries.
The police tweeted saying the shooting is believed to be targeted.
Insp. Tim Nagtegaal of the Peel Police told media that “emergency responders provided medical assistance to a 21-year-old woman, who had been shot “multiple times.” He further informed that the victim was gunned down outside the station store and died of her injuries at the scene.

Insp. did not clarify if the victim was a worker at the gas station or a resident of Mississauga. He said that the ‘culprit’ ran away on foot in an unknown direction. The gender of the suspect has not been confirmed yet, but was seen wearing ‘all-dark clothing.’
As per the investigation, no vehicle was involved in the shooting and the weapon is also not recovered yet. Nagtegaal said, “We want to make sure we do a thorough job of documenting any evidence.”
