In the previous 24 hours, there were around 300 collisions in the GTA, including two multi-vehicle accidents on Highway 401 in Milton and Mississauga. Roads were slippery and ice due to the winter storm, which probably caused accidents this morning (Jan. 26).

According to an OPP tweet sent out at before 7 a.m., a six-car collision this morning in Mississauga shut down the Hwy. 401 eastbound ramp to Dixie Road. Only minor injuries were sustained in the collision.
