Neos Airlines launched a new flight from Toronto to Amritsar via Milan, providing huge relief to people traveling from Punjab. The inaugural event took place on Thursday at Pearson International Airport, and the airline honored Punjabi culture by dedicating a Bhangra performance.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Mayor Patrick Brown, MP Ruby Sahota, Councillor Navjit Kaur Brar, Councillor Nav Nanda, and Arjun Ghai and Ram Ghai from Ghai Travels. The officials spoke at the podium, expressing their excitement about the new flight and its potential to strengthen the relationship between Canada and India.

The flight coming from India landed a little late in Toronto. However, despite the delay, passengers were thrilled to have a convenient new travel option.

It then took off from Toronto at 11:25 PM on Thursday.

The flight will operate every Thursday, taking off from Shri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport in Amritsar at 4:30 am, followed by a 4-hour layover in Milan, before finally landing in Toronto at 3 PM. It is then scheduled to take off from Toronto at 5:30 PM, with a 3-hour layover in Milan before landing in Amritsar.

Neos Airlines is one of the few airlines operating direct flights between Canada and India, and its new service is expected to further enhance air connectivity between the two countries.
