One Man Dead After Shooting in Brampton, Investigation Underway

A shooting in Brampton has left one person dead and an investigation by Peel Regional Police is underway. The incident took place at Resolution Drive and Rutherford Road South just after 7 p.m. and emergency crews were called to the scene.

Emergency crews responded to reports of a shooting at Resolution Drive and Rutherford Road South just after 7 p.m. and found one victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was a man in his 30s who was rushed to a trauma center in critical condition but after a short time, the police revealed that he had died.

The homicide bureau has taken the lead in the investigation and there is no information about the suspect or suspects yet. Anyone with information has been asked to contact homicide investigators at 905-453-2121 ext. 3205 or @PeelCrimeStopp.
