Another possibly large snowstorm is expected to hit portions of Ontario this week.

Late on Friday, southern Ontario could experience snowfall of up to 15 centimetres.

Morrison said, “It looks like there could be another potentially significant snowstorm with strong winds that will mainly impact the night,” adding that more information will become available in the coming days, but it is still too early to predict with certainty when the storm will make landfall.

On Saturday, there may be another one to three millimetres of snowfall.

Only a few days after southern Ontario coped with a blast of winter weather to start the week, the first snowstorm of March would hit.

Up to 10 centimetres of snow fell in Toronto on Monday due to a winter storm. Toronto was battered by blowing snow that was very heavy, and it moved through southern Ontario with a muddled mixture of snow, ice, and rain.

Snow had given way to freezing drizzle on Tuesday morning as the mercury rose back above zero.
