Sports: India, Canada in same groups in FIH Hockey World Cups for Junior Men, Women

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has revealed pools and match schedules for  FIH World Cups for Junior Men and Women to be played in Kuala Lumpur and Santiago, respectively,  later this year. While the Junior Men event will be held at Kuala Lumpur from December 5 to 16, the Junior Women tournament will be held in Santiago, Chile, from November 29 to December 10.

India and Canada have been placed in the same pools in both the events.

In the Junior Men’s section, India, Canada, Spain and Korea are placed in pool C while in the Junior Women’s section, India, Canada, Belgium and Germany figure in pool C.

On the other hand, the FIH World Cup for Junior Women will be held at Santiago’s National Stadium. The participating 16 teams have been placed in four groups of four teams each.
