Footage capturing the event displays a white car traveling at a considerable speed, striking a median, and soaring into the air before ultimately crashing. Following the impact, both the vehicle and the border crossing booth erupted in flames, as revealed by New York Governor Kathy Hochul.

Reflecting on the nature of the incident, Governor Hochul remarked on Wednesday, “You actually had to look at and say, was this generated by AI because it was so surreal to see how high in the air this vehicle went. And then the crash and explosion and the fire.”
