Peel Regional Police are asking the public for help identifying four masked suspects after a man was shot outside a Brampton home over the weekend in what investigators are treating as an attempted murder.
Police said the shooting happened on April 25 at around 10 p.m. in the area of Seahorse Avenue and Southlake Boulevard. The victim was standing in front of his residence when he was shot. He was taken to hospital and remains in stable condition.
Investigators with the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau said four male suspects fled the area after the shooting. Police said they were seen leaving in a 2016 to 2021 black Honda Civic sedan.
The first suspect is described as a male with a thin build, wearing a white sweater, grey pants and a face mask.
The second suspect is described as a male with a thin build, wearing a black sweater, grey pants and a face mask.
The third suspect is also described as a male with a thin build, wearing a black sweater, grey pants and a face mask.
The fourth suspect is described as a male with a thin build, wearing all black clothing and a face mask.
Police are asking witnesses, residents, and drivers who were in the area of Seahorse Avenue and Southlake Boulevard on Saturday night to check surveillance or dash camera footage.
