Woman sustains life-threatening injuries after highway crash in Mississauga

A collision at highway 403 near highway 407 in Mississauga on Sunday morning led to a 24-year-old woman sustaining life-threatening injuries, the Ontario Provincial Police stated.
The Police took to Twitter to inform that the highway was closed near highway 407 as the authorities investigated the single-vehicle crash.

The 24-year-old woman is said to be the only passenger in the vehicle and was reportedly rushed to a trauma centre following the crash.
The Highway Safety Division of the Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating the crash.
The highway has since been opened, according to the OPP.
